Cookie policy
What cookies are
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies, such as local storage, work in the same way. Under article 22.2 of Spanish Law 34/2002 (LSSI-CE), websites must ask for your consent before using them, unless they are strictly necessary to provide a service you have asked for.
Cookies set by this website
One, and only while you buy. When you press “continue to payment”, this website sets a cookie named pfb_portal containing a random code. It lets the confirmation page open your Polar downloads without signing in, and nothing else reads it. It is first-party, contains only that random code (not your name or email), expires after one hour, and is strictly necessary to deliver what you bought, so it is exempt from consent under article 22.2 LSSI-CE.
Our pages set no other cookies and do not use local storage to identify you, and there is no analytics or advertising software on this website.
Cookies set during checkout
When you press “continue to payment”, the checkout opens from Polar (polar.sh), and card payments are processed by Stripe. To complete the payment securely and prevent fraud, they may set cookies that are strictly necessary for that service and therefore exempt from consent. They are managed by those companies, not by us:
- Polar: privacy policy
- Stripe: cookie policy
The Python playground downloads the Python runtime from the jsDelivr network, which does not set cookies.
How to control cookies
You can see and delete cookies, or block them, in your browser’s settings. Blocking the checkout’s necessary cookies may stop the payment from working.
Changes
If we ever add cookies that are not strictly necessary, such as analytics, we will ask for your consent first and update this policy. More about your data in the Privacy policy.
